Some kids say their father is the greatest father in the world. I am happy to say that I am one of those kids.

          My father was born on July 20, 1945 in the town of Tungpun, Taiwan. He was the fifth child and the third oldest son out of 6 sons and 5 daughters. At the age of 18, he went to the capital city of Taipei for college where he majored in chemistry.

          After College he worked as a chemical engineer at a Plastic Company for two years. This was his first professional career. Afterwards, he entered the army, which is a requirement of all Taiwanese men. Because Taiwan is such a small country, the government requires all men to be trained and prepare if the country ever has to go into battle. This was done mainly for their conflict with their close neighbor China. Through the army he gained a lot of experience about life and also adapted some bad habits such as smoking.
